EUGENE, Ore.—April 20, 2017—Since 2006, Ninkasi Brewing Company, an independent craft brewery based in Eugene, Ore., has built an acclaimed portfolio of well-balanced IPAs, including Total Domination IPA—the top-selling IPA in Oregon. Available May through September, the brewery serves up the best of its IPAs in a Summer IPA Variety Pack. Offering an array of IPAs perfect for any palate, the Summer IPA Variety Pack will include three, 12-ounce bottles of Total Domination IPA, Dawn of the Red IPA, Beer Run IPA, and Hop Cooler Citrus IPA.

“The best part of summer is discovering new adventures and embracing the enjoyment of the season,” says Ninkasi co-founder and founding brewer, Jamie Floyd. “This Summer IPA Variety Pack offers an easy way to pair these new experiences with the perfect IPA; whether you’re looking for something full-bodied and bold, or floral and bright.”

Total Domination IPA – 6.7% ABV, 81 IBU
This decidedly balanced Northwest IPA celebrates our love of hops. A delightful blend of citrus and floral hop notes dominate the senses while a trio of malt adds a clean finish. Totally hoppy, totally drinkable; the name says it all.

Dawn of the Red IPA – 7.0% ABV, 66 IBU
Bursting with tropical notes, this Red IPA captures the bright complexity of El Dorado and Mosaic hops. An assertive hop presence is carried by a subtle caramel backbone, unearthing a beer that is flavorful and juicy.

Beer Run IPA – 7.3% ABV, 80 IBU
Whether making a run to the corner store or through the mountains, this gloriously crisp and flavorful IPA is worth grabbing. With bold hops and a lively citrus kick, enjoy Beer Run from start to finish.

Hop Cooler Citrus IPA – 7.2% ABV, 74 IBU
Bright and tropical, this India Pale Ale brilliantly layers a citrusy blend of orange and tangerine with a robust hop profile. Crafted with real citrus and packed with as much flavor as a hop cooler, you won’t be able to stop at just one sip of this fresh and fruity beer.

Ninkasi’s Summer IPA Variety 12-Pack will be available throughout each of the 14 states where its beer is sold. Track down Ninkasi retailers through the Ninkasi Beer Finder.

Ninkasi Brewing Hop Cooler Joins Flagship Series

EUGENE, Ore.—July 21, 2016—Ninkasi Brewing Company announces Hop Cooler Citrus IPA to join its year-round Flagship Series. Starting August 22, Hop Cooler will be available in 12oz. 6-packs, 22oz. bottles, and on-draft across the brewery’s distribution territory.

Hop Cooler made its debut this past January as part of Ninkasi’s Special Release Series. “We worked hard on this recipe to craft a super juicy beer,” explains Jamie Floyd, Ninkasi founding brewer and co-founder. “Combining four powerhouse hops and real orange and tangerine peel, we were able to achieve an IPA that perfectly accomplishes what we set out to do; like many of our fans, I can’t stop ordering it.”

Brewed with sweet orange and tangerine peel, Hop Cooler is a flavorful balance of juicy citrus and an assertive hop bitterness. “This one’s gorgeous in terms of execution,” says John Holl, All About Beer editor. “The core hop bitterness steers things, but quickly opens up into expansive layers of grassy, dense citrus: Orange peel, pulpy grapefruit, sweet lemon.”

To promote the release of Hop Cooler to a year-round offering, Ninkasi introduces an exclusive Hop Cooler tap handle featured wherever the beer will be poured on-draft.

Hop Cooler joins Ninkasi’s Flagship Series as its eighth year-round beer. “The Flagship Series offers a full spectrum of beers for all beer drinkers to enjoy,” says Floyd. Included in the Flagship Series lineup are Total Domination IPA, Easy Way IPA, Dawn of the Red IPA, Tricerahops Double IPA, Oatis Oatmeal Stout, Vanilla Oatis Oatmeal Stout, and Helles Belles Lager.
