DALE'S PALE ALE AND OSKAR BLUES BREWERY ANNOUNCE MULTI-YEAR PARTNERSHIP WITH JR MOTORSPORTS

First Craft Beer in a Can to Sponsor Iconic No. 88 in NASCAR Xfinity Series

Longmont, CO & Brevard, NC -- Dale's Pale Ale, Oskar Blues Brewery's flagship brew and first craft beer in a can, has announced a multi-year extension with JR Motorsports (JRM). Dale's Pale Ale will sponsor JRM's No. 88 Chevrolet in three NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) races in the 2016-2017 seasons. 

The No. 88 Dale's Pale Ale Chevrolet will make its first appearance on August 19 at Bristol Motor Speedway with driver Regan Smith. The remaining two race dates will be announced at a later date. Dale's Pale Ale will also be featured on the No. 1 Chevrolet with driver Elliot Sadler as he battles for the series championship each week for the 2016 season. 

Dale's Pale Ale became the first craft beer to achieve NASCAR sponsorship status in 2013 and primary sponsor status in 2015 with the start of its partnership with JRM.

Smith becomes the eighth driver to pilot the JRM's No. 88 Chevrolet in 2016, joining Josh Berry, Alex Bowman, Cole Custer, Chase Elliott, Kenny Habul, Kevin Harvick, and of course, the OTHER Dale, Dale Earnhardt Jr.

JR Motorsports and Regan Smith's Dale's Pale Ale No. 7 Debut at Charlotte Motor Speedway

Longmont, CO & Brevard, NC - Dale's Pale Ale, Oskar Blues Brewery's flagship brew and first American craft beer in a can, makes its second appearance of the season Friday night as a primary sponsor of Regan Smith and the JR Motorsports No. 7 Chevrolet in the NASCAR XFINITY Series race at Charlotte Motor Speedway (CMS).

 

Last weekend, Smith charged from fourth to first during a restart on Lap 120 and stayed there for the rest of the Hisense 200 NXS race at Dover International Speedway, posting his second victory of the season. That put Smith and the No. 7 team back in serious contention for the series title heading into Charlotte.

 

Oskar Blues Brewery, a Colorado-based craft brewery which has a second location in Brevard, N.C. and recently announced plans for a third in Austin, Texas next year, builds on its relationship as the first official craft brewery of Charlotte Motor Speedway.  The relationship between Oskar Blues and CMS kicked off in 2013, when the brewery sponsored driver Landon Cassill and his No. 4 JD Motorsports Chevrolet in the NASCAR XFINITY Series' Dollar General 300 at CMS.
