on anniversary Imperial IPA, announces Feb. 7 release party
Press Release:
PORTLAND, Ore. – Growlers Hawthorne has collaborated with Buoy Beer Co. to produce a proprietary Imperial IPA.  The collaborative beer will be released at a party to celebrate both companies’ one year anniversary on Feb. 7 from 6 to 8pm at Growlers Hawthorne, 3343 SE Hawthorne Blvd. Samples of the beer will be provided and representatives from Buoy will be on hand to talk about the Imperial IPA.

A number of team members from Growlers Hawthorne traveled to Buoy Beer in Astoria to help brew the Imperial IPA, which is made with Galaxy and Mosaic hops. “Watching the brewing process showed me how creative, knowledgeable and committed Buoy is to making damn good beer,” stated Adi Zweier. “I am so excited to share the experience with our customers at Growlers Hawthorne.”

The collaboration beer will remain on tap exclusively at Growlers Hawthorne and depending on demand, should be available throughout most of 2015.
