Breakside Brewery is charging full steam into July, aka Oregon Craft Beer Month with the return of summer seasonal
Passionfruit Sour and
Post-Time Kolch, a
Summer Luau
party and new draft only seasonal beers. July also marks the return of
Breakside Brewery to the Oregon Brewers Festival and kicks off Belmont
Station's Puckerfest on
July 14th.
Breakside Passionfruit Sour (July - September, 2015)
a
refreshing sour ale with a kiss of tropical fruit our award-winning
sour ale returns as our official summer seasonal. Passionfruit Sour is
brewed in the tradition of a classic German Berliner weisse, and then we
add a unique, tropical twist. We use lactic acid-producing bacteria to
produce a beer that is light in body, extremely refreshing, and mouth
puckeringly tart. The addition of passionfruit in our lagering tanks
gives this beer an inviting stonefruit aroma.
5% ABV. 3 IBU. Malts: Two Row, German Wheat, Light Crystal. Hops: Hersbrucker. Special Ingredients: Passionfruit.
Available in 22oz bottles and on draft next week.

Post-Time Kolsch (available July 1 - October 1, 2015)
we've
crafted an easy-drinking golden ale with a kiss of hop flavor and a
touch of malt-driven sweetness. We've stuck close to German tradition in
making this beer while also injecting it with our own Oregon twist,
combining imported German malts with Willamette Valley-grown hops.
Whether you're floating a river, grilling with friends, or watching the
races we guarantee that this beer will satisfy all your summer drinking
