On Oct.14th Everybody's Brewing will celebrate their 9th anniversary. The festivities will be held at their brew pub in White Salmon, WA, and this year the party will include its very  own beer festival. The first ever Local Love Fest will run from 1 to 6 pm. The event will feature 11 collaboration beers, all brewed or paired with ingredients from Columbia Gorge businesses. Live music all day will culminate with Tom Petty tribute band, Hamburger Petty at 8:30 pm.  The day will also include beer specials, a photo booth, giveaways, bottle blowout deals, and Everybody’s Hungry Hungry Hippo Tournament.

Co-owner Christine Ellenberger said this year’s party is all about being thankful.  “Nine years is a great milestone for us, and we want to celebrate all the people that have helped us get here.  That’s where the idea for the Local Love Fest came in.”  Entry to the festival is free, but for $10 you get a commemorative glass and 11 tasting tokens.  Participating purveyors will be on hand to talk about their products and the beer they helped brew.  The lineup of collaborations will include:

  1. Sweaty Teddy’s Hot Sauce – Country Boy IPA infused with Serrano Hot Sauce
  2. STOKED Roasters – Uncle Stepdad Bourbon Barrel-Aged Stout, infused with STOKED Bluebird Cold Brew Coffee
  3. NuCulture Foods – Barrel-Aged Country Boy IPA paired with vegan Bacony Chipotle Spread
  4. Blue Bus Cultured Foods – Cryo-Chronic IPA infused with Hibiscus Ginger Kombucha
  5. Columbia Mushroom Co. – Cash Stout infused with Oyster Mushrooms
  6. White Salmon Baking Co – Hoppy AF paired with Spent Grain Bread
  7. Cascadia Creamery – Barrel-Aged Salted Sour Cherry Saison paired with Sawtooth Cheese
  8. Scoops & Smiles – Pucker Huddle Porter poured over a scoop of Vanilla Ice Cream
  9. El Reconcito –  Uncle Rico Mexican Lager aged in Tequila Barrels, paired with Mini Taco Bites
  10. Tea Lyn’s Tea Shop – Local Logger Lager infused with Earl Grey Tea
  11. COR Cellars –  Sprinkles Hibiscus Sour Red Ale infused with Malbec Grapes

The anniversary party will also give attendees a chance to check out the progress that Everybody’s has made on their new building.  They plan to move their brewery and pub to the new space this Spring, which will be located directly next-door to their current location.  Ellenberger said it gives them extra reason to celebrate. “We saw our dreams become a reality in this building, but we’ve outgrown the space.  So many people helped make this our home.  We hope to see a lot of folks here on the 14th.  If you are from the Gorge, come celebrate with your neighbors, and if you are from out of town, come experience the local love of White Salmon.”
