Ride the rails to the 21st annual Olympic Club Brewfest

There’s something so romantic about train rides. Maybe it’s the freedom of not having to drive or the way we can see the world pass by from the comfort of our seats. Even better? Rolling into town via the rails for a beer festival rife with history "the world's best baked beans" and, well, lots of craft beer.
The best time to ride Amtrak is next month for the 21st annual Olympic Club Brewfest on April 22. Beer enthusiasts will enjoy fine ales created by McMenamins' Washington brewers and guest brewers alike. Attendees can also tour the Olympic Club Brewery, relax in the outdoor seating area by a cozy firepit, play a round or two of pool and enjoy specials from the open-pit barbecue.
Why take the train? McMenamins has teamed up with Amtrak Cascades to offer a discount on fares for all 18 stops from Vancouver B.C. to Eugene for those traveling before April 30Buy one ticket, get one free. Vouchers available at any McMenamins. McMenamins Passport holders may also consider riding to Seattle or Eugene for some stamp gathering. For rail tickets, see amtrakcascades.com; restrictions and blackout dates apply.
